About Ridgewood Dental Associates

Dr. Joung: Well, this office was started by a prosthodontist over 30 years ago. It's been in this location for close to that amount of time. I took over the practice in 2008 and then partnered with Dr. Samani 2010 and we've been together ever since. Dr. Samani: Some of the services we provide or that are fairly unique to this practice is having a board-certified periodontist and/or two prosthodontists treating you. So one of the things that happens is we get the opportunity to bounce ideas off of each other from a restorative standpoint and also from a surgical standpoint. The team takes the time to listen and to understand every patient's dental history so that they can create a treatment plan that is unique and fulfils every patient's needs and desires. Dr. Joung: Every patient is different and so we want to personalize our treatment towards that patient. We're not just treating their teeth. We're treating them as a whole. Dr. Samani: The reason I joined this practice is because Dr. Joung and I have the same mindset. We both want to provide incredibly high-quality dentistry that makes patients happy that they've received it, that fulfils their aesthetic requirements, that makes them happy that they had this work done. Dr. Joung: Technology is advancing at a rapid pace in dentistry and we try to stay up to date with the newest technology. Dr. Samani: We have an intraoral scanner. In certain cases, we don't have to put that stuff in your mouth and take an impression that sits in your mouth for four minutes.
