Dr. Samani: People ask me all the time, "What does a typical visit to your office look like?" We don't have typical visits. It's an adult restorative prosthodontic practice. We get denture patients who we just take a look in their mouth, see some bone loss and make a new denture. It's a simple, easy visit. You see some people that have not paid attention to their teeth for 35 years and need a dramatic amount of help in restoring them from being a dental cripple to rehabilitation. The average practice or average first visit for us is mostly information gathering. Between the exam, TMJ screening, cancer screening. Dr. Joung: Most patients that are coming here are referred to our practice for specialty care. We have a lot of diagnostic work that takes place in the first visit, including x-rays, maybe a CT scan, a full exam, and photos. So there's a lot of work that takes place in that first visit. So we can collect all the data that we need to come up with some options for the patient. Dr. Samani: We pride ourselves on being the premiere prosthodontic practice in Bourbon County. Second thing is respect and dignity. Never once do we want to ever disrespect a patient.
