Get to Know Dr. Jin Ha Joung
Dr. Joung has been practicing dentistry since 2003. He is a New Jersey native who lives right here in Ridgewood with his wife Dr. Min-Hee Cho and their four children Emma, Sophie, Natalie, and Matthew. He is known for putting patients at ease with his gentle approach and caring attitude.
Of course, impeccable chairside manner only matters if his work is stellar. Dr. Joung is one of only a handful of dentists in the country to be trained in two dental specialties — prosthodontics and periodontics.
Prosthodontists are specially trained in the restoration of damaged teeth and the replacement of missing teeth. Periodontists are experts at diagnosing, treating, and preventing issues with gums and implants. Our dentist's dual specialties allow him to offer comprehensive care.

Dr. Joung is thorough and I feel confident in the care I'm receiving as he explains things and makes sure to answer all my questions. Really appreciate that there is a separate room where you deal with the financial aspects and next appointments, as opposed to in the general waiting area in front of others like some other offices I've been in.
