Experience State-of-the-Art Care with Dental Implant Technologies
At Ridgewood Dental Associates, we are committed to incorporating cutting-edge dental implant technologies to provide our patients with high-quality care. We offer advanced treatments using diagnostic and surgical tools by Straumann®, the worldwide leader in dental implants, as well as other trusted companies. In addition, we are one of the first private dental practices in the United States capable of providing comprehensive digital implant dentistry. By undergoing dental implant treatment at our Ridgewood, NJ, office, you can benefit from state-of-the-art care, as well as rigorous training in implant placement and prosthodontics.
Precise Planning
With our state-of-the-art tools, we can plan your dental implant treatment with accuracy and precision. The Planmeca ProMax® 3D Plus is a cone beam computed tomography (CT) scanner that allows us to evaluate bone morphology and anatomy for patients considering implants. With a full 3-D image of your jawbone, we can develop a deeper understanding of the structure of your smile and choose the type of dental implant most suited for your needs.*
Our Straumann® CARES® Intraoral Scanner brings convenience and reliability to the planning process. The remarkably small hand-held scanner uses 3-D Multiscan Imagining™ to create digital impressions quickly and easily, without the need for messy, unpleasant tray impressions. This efficiency means we can discuss results and treatment options right away.
All the information gathered from our devices is integrated into our Straumann® coDiagnostiX™ software. This technology allows us to combine the data from CT scans with intraoral imaging to perform virtual surgery. We can create precise surgical guides for placement and design your final restoration all before getting started. With all your information in one place, we can provide comprehensive and accurate care throughout your dental implant treatment.*
Convenient Restoration Fabrication
By investing in 3-D printing and milling technologies, we provide patients with the convenience of an in-office lab. The Formlabs Form 2 3D Printer allows us to print surgical models and dental appliances. It even works in conjunction with the coDiagonistiX software to create precise 3-D printed surgical guides to assist during dental implant surgery.
By incorporating digital scanners as well as 3-D printers, we have streamlined the dental implant experience, from planning to fabricating in-office restorations.
Our Straumann® CARES® 7Series Scanner allows us to make a digital replica of your old models and impressions. Using the latest generation Blue Laser Illumination system, this machine performs high-accuracy and precision scans, which can be sent directly to our in-office milling system or saved for future use.
The Straumann® CARES® M Series is a milling and grinding system that enables us to produce an extensive range of restorations in the office. This highly flexible machine can handle a variety of materials and indications, allowing us to handle most of our casework in-office. In some cases, we can even fabricate your temporary or permanent restoration while you wait, saving you the time and hassle of waiting for a lab-made appliance.

Our advanced technological options provide patients with convenient and efficient treatment at every stage of care, whether they choose traditional implants or the All-on-4® method. By incorporating digital scanners as well as 3-D printers, we have streamlined the dental implant experience from planning to fabricating in-office restorations.
