The Ridgewood Implant Institute serves as a training facility and resource for both local professionals and patients. The institute provides continuing education courses, as well as lectures designed to stimulate discussion regarding the latest techniques and developments within the dental industry. Type of Implant

For this specific course, only patients who qualify for All-on-4 dental implants will be selected. This solution is best for patients missing all of their teeth along one or both arches. Those only missing one or a few teeth will not qualify.

Grafting

Depending on the needs of the course, your dentist may select you based on whether you require preparatory bone grafting.

Number of Implants

All-on-4 treatment uses just four implants to support a denture. If you require more implants, you will not qualify for this specific implant surgery.

Complexity of Case

Depending on the needs of the course, we select patients based on how easy or complex their case is.

Those interested in participating in the program will be screened by our doctors to ensure they meet the necessary qualifications. Patients will be selected based on their compatibility with the course needs. 

During this course, dentists gain experience in the All-on-4 technique. This technique is different from traditional dental implant placement for dentures as only four implants are used. The implants are placed in areas of the jawbone with the highest density, and two implants are placed at an angle to maximize contact with the jawbone, potentially eliminating the need for bone grafting.
